We are aware of our social responsibility and want to give something back to the people we deal with every day. That is why we have created the DARCO company fund “Vorwärts” (German for “Forward"). An internal company support package from which we promote medical, social, cultural and scientific projects.

Children’s feet need help
Help for Indian children
“Children’s Feet Need Help” enables Indian children to lead a self-determined life on their own feet (literally and metaphorically) and thus to participate in public life. Thrice a year, surgeons visit the Indian subcontinent to treat malpositions of children’s feet surgically or conservatively.

Dare last wishes
Instead of giving gifts to customers at Christmas, it is a tradition at DARCO to make a donation to a social project at Christmas. in 2021, our DARCO Christmas Lottery raised a nice sum for the “Wünschewagen” project.
TheoKiDi
Theotinum Children’s Hospice Dießen (TheoKiDi)
Instead of Christmas presents, we supported the Theotinum in Dießen in 2022 with the expansion of an inpatient hospice. The association accompanies children with life-shortening illnesses, young people and people with disabilities at home or in the hospice.

Being there for each other
The Pfaffenwinkel Hospice Association (Hospizverein im Pfaffenwinkel e.V.) cares for and accompanies seriously ill and dying people and their relatives until their last moment – regardless of age, religion, nationality or weltanschauung.

Bringing a smile to the faces of sick people
Giving sick people a smile – that is the task to which the KlinikClowns have dedicated themselves for 25 years. Laughter works, it strengthens the immune system, relieves pain and gives new courage to face life. It promotes the healing process in the positive interaction of body and soul.
